 ‘Bhavalaya’  - the center for promoting and propagating universal arts in general – Muscat Chapter has this time come up with a unique programme for the school children in Muscat.  ‘Bhavalaya’s Winter Camp 2011’ for children in the age group of 5 to 15 is being held in Al Falaj Hotel, Ruwi, starting from December 10, 2011 till December 30, 2011.

 The Winter Workshop aimed at nourishing the creative abilities in children and also inspiring them with the basics for their personality development, through fun-filled games and various activities, is spearheaded and conducted by well experienced faculties Ms Sangeeta Rachh and Ms Nipa Shah, who have in the past very successfully anchored such events back in India and Oman.  M/s Majan Events & Entertainments is the Co-ordinator of the event.

 The inaugural ceremony of the Winter Workshop was held in Le Grand Hall of Al Falaj Hotel, Ruwi on Saturday, 10th December morning by the Chairman of ‘Bhavalaya’, Dr J Retnakumar. The relevance and importance of grooming sessions for the school going children so as to bring out their artistic talents as well as  shaping up for their personality development through this kind of Workshop was  emphasized by Dr J Retnakumar in his brief speech after lighting the lamp.  Dignitaries from various sections of the society - Mr Anvwar Ali Al Balushi - Group CEO of Majan Consolidated, Mr Saileswaran - Managing Director, Apollo Hospitals,  Mr Sivasankara Pillai – Director, Mars Trading, Sheikh Kaleem – Managing Director of Majan Events & Entertainments, Mr Sudheer Paleri, General Manager of  MEMA (franchisee of Asianet Television Channel) - were present at the inaugural function. 

 ‘Bhavalaya’ a non-commercial organization purely concentrating for the cultural integration of various countries by linking and exchanging of various cultural and art forms, established its Oman Chapter in 2010 and since then quite a few classic programmes were presented by ‘Bhavalaya’  performed by renowned artistes of Classical Music &  Dance, for the art lovers in and around Muscat.
